Italy: Bolzano Giants sign ex NFL RB Khiry Robinson

The Bolzano Giants, Italian semifinalists in 2019, have signed ex New Orleans Saint and New York Jets running back Khiry Robinson for the 2020 season.

Bolzano were knocked out of the Italian Div. 1 semifinals in 2019 by the Firenze Guelfi.

Robinson will be a welcome addition to a Giants team that finished as the sixth leading rushing team in the league in 2019, averaging 108.5 yards a game.

The 6′, 215 lb 29 year old from Belton, Texas was a member of the Saints from 2013 to 2016 and then joined the Jets for the 2016 season. He was released in 2017 following a second leg injury. He had graduated from West Texas A&M, where he played for two seasons and was named to the 2012 D2Football.com All-America team. Robinson finished his NFL career with 788 yards rushing and 178 yard receiving, tallying a total of eight touchdowns.
