It’s also something that talent evaluators look for at every level, from high school through the professional ranks.
Parisi believes athletes can increase their speed by better understanding leg recovery mechanics.
“When you sprint, your feet are either in the air recovery, or they’re on the ground, putting force into the ground,” Parisi said.
