Brazil’s Superliga Nordeste Reveals 2015 Preliminary Phase Qualifiers, Schedule

Superliga Nordeste de Futebol Americano discloses the table and schedule for clubs competing for a spot in the 2015 Superliga regular season.

In this preliminary stage of the 2015 Superliga Nordeste season, five teams are further divided into two groups: North and South. Only the top team from each group qualifies for the Superliga, which begins in June and currently has six pre-ranked and qualified teams.

This Brazilian American football championship, organized by Brazil’s Confederação Brasileira de Futebol Americano (CBFA), has two top conferences, the Superliga Nordeste and Super Centro-Sul.

The winners of these two conferences earn the right to compete in the CBFA’s Brazilian Championship, the Brasil Bowl!

Tabela Superliga Nordeste 2015: Preliminary Phase

The first game of the season 2015 will be the duel between Roma Gladiadores and Recife Pirates. The two teams face off on April 11th in Moraisão stadium in Maranguape, Ceará. On April 12th, Aracaju Imortais and Maceió Marechais face off in SEST/SENAT in Aracaju, Sergipe.

Two weeks later, Vitória FA, from Salvador, gets into the action against Marchais on April 25th.

The winner of Gladiadores and Pirates will join the Ceará Caçadores, América Bulls and Ufersa Petroleiros.

The champion among Marechais, Imortais and Vitoria will join a strong southern final group, where the current champion and regional runner-up, João Pessoa Espectros and Recife Mariners, as well as the Sergipe Bravos.
