The Black Angels Brian De Caluwé  scored on the second play from scrimmage on a 70 yard scamper and then Tigers defensive back Karim Abdellaoui returned an interception 35 yards to tie the game 6-6. Black Angels quarterback Francis Njufom threw  a 24 yard touchdown pass to Mike Schoonheyt and the Angels moved ahead 13-6. The Tigers responded as quarterback Marshall Kontos found Jonathan Leroy for an 18 yard touchdown to close the gap to 13-12.

Njufom connected with Thomas Bouron to increase the lead to 20-12 and then found Bouron again and the Black Angels had a 27-12 halftime lead.

The defenses of both teams took charge in the second half and neither could move the ball until the four minute mark of the fourth quarter when Tigers wide receiver Lionel Denis scored on an 11 yard pass from Kontos. Rudy Mwamba added the two-point convert. With the score 27-20, the Tigers almost recovered the onside kick, but after a scramble and some confusion between the officials, the Black Angels were awarded possession and managed to hold on to the ball and run out the clock for the win.
