Exciting New Graphics For Football

Sports portraits may never be the same again. Wendell Anderson, a Canadian self-taught graphics artist and avid football fan has begun taking the sports world by storm.

He has developed a unique method of recreating player portraits. Although not a graphics artist, he learned the art of “Edits” which is a way of mixing and blending backgrounds and photos to create his own unique style.

The eye-catching prints have literally caught the eye of a number of teams and leagues. In fact, he is being deluged with requests and appearance invitations.

He has not restricted his efforts to North America. French star Anthony Dablé and Italy’s Nichlas Giribaldi along with Dwayne Watson of the London Warriors have caught the attention of Anderson.

His work is gaining interest in other sports as well. This could well turn into a full-time occupation at the rate this has taken off. For anyone interested his email address is [email protected].

Roger Kelly is an editor and a writer for AFI. A former PR Director the B.C. Lions of the Canadian Football League for 7 years, he now lives in Sweden writing about and scouting American Football throughout the world.
