Finland: Seinäjoki Crocodiles re-sign QB Jonathan Baker

Finland’s Seinäjoki Crocodiles have re-signed Jonathan Baker as their quarterback for the 2019 season.

The 6′, 196 lb, 24 year old Baker from Maryville, Missouri returns to the Crocodiles after playing the last seven games for the club in the 2018 season. He threw for 1,639 yards and 19 touchdowns over the span of the seven games, helping them win three of four after the team had opened the season with three straight losses. Baker arrived in Finland after playing for the St. Ouen l’Aumône Cougars in the top league in France. He led the team to a 5-4-1 record and was the top quarterback in the country in passing after throwing for  2,251 yards and 19 touchdowns in 10 games.

He spent four years at Northwest Missouri State University (NCAA Div. II) winning three national championships (2013, 2015, 2016).
