France’s St. Ouen Cougars Sign Wake Forest QB Tanner Price

Former ACC quarterback chooses France for 2015

Tanner Price (University of Wake Forest) joins the St. Ouen-Aumone Cougars at the position of quarterback for the 2015 season.

2014 was an exceptional season with Patrick Witt in the Cougars black and gold. Witt exploded defensive backfields in France‘s Elite Championship division, throwing for a record number of yards (3,190) becoming the first quarterback in the ‘Elite Championat Diamant’ to launch more than 3,000 yards in a season. He also threw for 37 touchdowns and ran in 10 more.

The Cougars had their work cut out for them finding a replacement for 2015.

At 23 years old, Tanner Price comes from Wake Forest University, the same as the former Cougars offensive lineman Dennis Godfrey (pictured with Price below). Godfrey protected Price during the 2010 and 2011 seasons. Price’s Wake Forest University played in ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference) against powerful opponents such as the 2014 National Champion, Florida State University Seminoles.
