National champions Fujitsu Frontiers have the largest contingent with 13 players selected by head coach Kiyoyuki Mori, followed by Obic Seagulls with 11. The sole university representative is 20-year-old running back Taku Lee from Keio.

Mori decided to take just two QBs and a single TE to the USA and will be hoping injuries don’t cause him to regret that gamble.

Team Japan will train from June 20 to 28 before departing on July 7th.

A sending off ceremony is scheduled for June 27th with the venue yet to be decided.
