The defending champion and 8-0 Milano Seamen, Europe #7, take on crosstown rivals the 4-4 Milano Rhinos in a crucial late season game for the Rhinos in Italy’s Division I.

The first time these two teams met this season, in the second game of the season, the Seamen had to come from behind to beat the Rhinos 32-25.These two heated rivals also staged a dramatic Italian Bowl in 2017 with the Seamen upsetting the Rhinos 37-29.

The Seamen enter the game not only as the league leaders but also as the top scoring team in terms of points, but also the best defensive team, giving up 11.4.

Seamen quarterback Luke Zahradka is the second leading passer in the league in Italy with 1,918 yards and a whopping 32 TDs in eight games. His leading receiver, Xavier Mitchell has hauled in 43 passes for a league best 768 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Milano Rhinos QB Kevin Ellison is the fourth leading rusher in the league on a team that tops Italy in rushing yards per game. Ellison has rushed for 463 yards while the Rhinos as a whole average 133.5 yards rushing per game.

The Rhinos need to win this game for a chance to have home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
