LIVE STREAM: Germany – Kiel Baltic Hurricanes v. Berlin Rebels – Sunday, Sept. 3 @ 3p CEST (9a EDT)

The Kiel Baltic Hurricanes travel to Berlin Sunday to play the Berlin Rebels (7-6)  at Stadion Wilmersdorf in Berlin in the final regular season game of the season for the Rebels after they clinched a playoff berth.

Kiel (10-2) plays one more game after this next weekend against the Hamburg Huskies. The Hurricanes will finish second and face the Marburg Mercenaries in the first round of the German Football League playoffs on Sept. 16.

Berlin’s playoff berth was assured when the Dresden Monarchs defeated the Cologne Crocodiles yesterday.

The Rebels will have new “old” quarterback Terrell Robinson back behind center for this game with starter James Harris still sidelined with an injury. Robinson, who was the starting quarterback for Berlin in 2016,  returned to the lineup for the game against the Hildesheim Invaders last weekend, throwing for 285 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-3 victory.

The last time these two teams met with Robinson at quarterback for Berlin was in 2016 when Kiel beat the Rebels 21-16. Berlin had won the first game of the series in 2016 19-17. The Hurricanes won the first game of the home and home series three weeks ago 30-28 when Kiel running back Chris McClendon racked up 352 yards rushing and Xavier Mitchell added another 123.
