LIVESTREAM: Game Of The Week In Poland – Warsaw Eagles v Wroclaw Panthers

In what has to be the game of the week in Poland, the Warsaw Eagles (2-1)  play host to the Wroclaw Panthers (2-1) Saturday at noon.

The Panthers are fresh off their IFAF Europe Champions League 31-10 victory over Denmark’s Triangle Razorbacks. Meanwhile Warsaw shut out Kozly 48-0 in a display of power offense.

Panthers head coach Nick Johansen has his charge playing excellent football at this stage still early in the season. Against the Razorbacks, quarterback EJ White threw three touchdown passes and running back Mateusz Szefler scored another.

Running back Rickey Stevens runs behind one of the biggest offensive lines in Europe.

The Eagles, with new head coach Daniel Levy, have been steadily improving over the course of the 2016 season. He has added quarterback Greg Watson who is guiding an offense that has scored 102 points in their last two games. The versatile Cody Smith bolsters both the offense and defense after moving over from German semifinalists the Allgau Comets.

Defensive back Charles McRae has returned to the Eagles and gives them defensive stability but can play offense and special teams as well. Running back Andre Whyte has returned for his third season with Warsaw and gives them a dangerous running game.

After their opening game 27-12 loss to the Primacol Lowlanders Bialystok, Warsaw has been a powerhouse.

Kickoff: Saturday May 7, 12 noon (6 AM EDT)
