Team Spain to face Turkey in international friendly
Team Spain will take on the Turkish national team in the second international friendly game this year for both nations this Saturday, September 29 in Madrid.
Spain secured their first ever victory in international competition last month when they blanked Team Russia 27-0 in the International Madrid Open under new head coach Talib Wise.
Ignacio Valero, Juan Hervás and Marcos de la Mata were standouts with de la Mata being named MVP after scoring all three touchdowns.
Turkey enters the game after also playing against Russia. Under head coach Erdem Özsalih the Turkish national side played the Russians to a 13-13 tie.
