2nd Annual Central American Bowl Coming This Weekend
International American Football friendlies comes to San Jose, Costa Rica
The Federación de Fútbol Americano in Costa Rica this week announced the second edition of the Central American Bowl.Three teams will participate in this season: Costa Rica (host country), El Salvador and Panama (defending champion title).
The competition starts on September 15th and runs until September 20th. All games will be held in the Jorge “Cuty” Monge stadium, at the Villa Olímpica of Desamparads in the capital San Jose.

The Stadium
The Jorge “Cuty” Monge stadium has diameter of 105 x 75m, artificial grass, and holds 5,500 spectators.
History of the competition
The first edition was held in the Salvadoran capital, San Salvador, on September 2013. The tournament was attended five national teams: Costa Rica, El Salvador (host country), Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama.
