LIVESTREAM Canada: International Bowl – MIFA All Stars Canada vs Team America, Sept. 4, 19:30 CET (7:30 pm, 1:30 pm ET)
The Mississauga Indoor/International Fitness/Football Association, MIFA, is hosting International Bowl 2021 over the Labor Day Weekend with the feature game between the MIFA All Stars Canada and Team America.
The MIFA All Stars Canada showcases players from the province of Ontario, Canada while Team America’s roster features many all-stars, including former NFL players and many other Pro Arena athletes and top college seniors.
The all-day event also features a women’s tackles game and a youth coed flag football game.
The MIFA All Stars Canada and Team America showdown will be played by NCAA (four down) rules. Paul Gilbert Field, located on the outskirts of the Toronto GTA border town of Mississauga is the venue for this event.
MIFA has grown to many program and facets of football and fitness since its inception.
Currently MIFA runs: youth programming, junior varsity indoor, men’s semi-pro tackle, women’s tackle, co-ed flag, agility and speed training, bootcamps and athletic therapy.
MIFA’s objective is to provide fitness and football year round to women, men and youth from local
programming to international tournaments and play.
Historical Facts: Five years ago, the MIFA started the first women’s tackle semi-pro team in Ontario and on August 20th, 2021 officially hosted the first-ever game in the first-ever women’s tackle semi-pro league in Ontario. This milestone was gilded as the season opener game of the first-ever women’s MIFA Friday Night Lights series.
