2019 Sporting Events in Colorado

Watching or practicing sports is one of the most common pastimes for people all around the world. For most people, the feeling that they get when they attend sporting events or when they actually take part in such games doesn’t compare with anything else. But sometimes it’s hard to keep up with everything that’s happening out there, especially if you’re from Colorado, where these kinds of events happen all the time.

Below, we’ll list some of the most important sports events that will take place in the coming months in the state of Colorado.

AMA National Championship

Are you a person that’s usually into pro racing? If not, you might just become one if you attend the third round of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. The big event will take place at Thunder Valley National in Lakewood, Colorado, starting from 8 a.m. in the morning and ending at 5:30 p.m. For just $45, you can get yourself a whole day of fun. If you want to bring your little ones, you can do that for just $20. The date of the event is June 1st, but if you want to test your skills, you can come on May 31st for a day of amateur racing.

UEFA Champions League

The biggest soccer match of the year is coming to Colorado on June 1st, at least virtually. If you’re a lover of the sport and you enjoy watching UEFA Champions League matches, you can now do that along with other soccer fans by joining a watch party at Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill. Tottenham and Liverpool are playing, and given the fact that this is a European championship, it’s harder for American citizens to physically attend these events, so a watching party is the next best thing.

Colorado Rockies

Whether you’re from Colorado or not, if you’re a baseball fan, it’s totally worth it to see the Colorado Rockies play in their home state. The Rockies often play matches in Colorado, but your best chance to catch them is between June 10th and June 14th, when they play every night against different baseball teams. Baseball fans are usually really involved with their favorite teams, and you can often see them go through a range of emotions while attending a match. The Colorado Rockies’ supporters are no exception, so that’s why they get really passionate when it comes to the MLB (Major League Baseball). If you’re one of them, following MLB predictions and odd, is your best chance to keep track of your favorites and make some extra cash while supporting them as well.

WWE Live

For those of you who grew up in the 2000s, this might be a big one. On June 15th, the Pepsi Center in Denver will be the host arena of an important WWE event. Fighters like Kofi Kingston and AJ Styles will be there, but also some veterans like Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio. Plus, the actual WWE champion will also attend the event: Daniel Bryan. You can buy tickets that cost as low as $20, but if you want to have a surreal and memorable experience, you can purchase VIP Experience tickets that start at $399.

Xtreme Bulls

For those of you who want to try some non-traditional sports, consider buying tickets for the PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour, which showcases some of the top bull riders in the world. All the contestants fight each other until the final round, and the last man standing has the chance to be named the top bull rider for this tour stop of the event. Whether you want to take part in the competition, or you just want to go there and be part of the audience, make sure to clear your schedule for June 26th.

One of the best parts about living in such a crowded state as Colorado is that there’s always something happening, regardless of your favorite passion or pastime. And sporting events are no exception, especially in the summertime, when there’s a new event happening practically every day. Whether you want to take part as a contestant in one of these events, or you just want to be part of the audience, attending at least one of them is definitely worth it.
