AFI.tv features a pair of IFAF European Championship games plus Sportmonda Bowl and German Football League action

It’s a weekend of football again on AFI.tv highlighted by two International Federation of American Football European Championship games and a major flag football tournament.

Team Sweden heads to Helsinki, Finland to face Team Finland in an IFAF European Championship semifinal while the Serbian national team visits Austria to play Team Austria in an IFAF European Championship placement game. One of the largest flag football tournaments in Europe takes place in Copenhagen, Denmark with 30 teams participating in four different divisions. Meanwhile, the German Football League heads into the second half of the season with five games on tap.

Saturday, August 7

The Sportmonda Bowl VII international flag football tournament from Denmark opens on Saturday, August 7 at 10:00 CET (10 am, 04:00 am ET) and runs until 18:00 CET (6 pm, 12 noon ET).

The IFAF European Championship semifinals kick off Saturday, August 7 when Team Finland and Team Sweden face each other. Game time is 12:30 CET (12:30 pm, 06:30 am ET).

The German Football League heads into the second half of the season with a GFL North clash between the Dresden Monarchs and Kiel Baltic Hurricanes. Kickoff is 15:00 CET (3 pm, 09:00 am ET).

The Munich Cowboys (3-3) will play host to the Marburg Mercenaries (2-4) in a German Football League South battle at 16:00 CET (4 pm, 10:00 am ET).

Sunday, August 8

The Sportmonda Bowl international flag football tournament continues Sunday from Denmark with the opening games at 09:00 CET (9 am, 03:00 am ET).

GFL South action continues Sunday with the Stuttgart Scorpions (1-5) paying a visit to Kempten, Germany to face the Allgäu Comets (3-1). Kickoff is 15:00 CET (3 pm, 09:00 am ET).

The Potsdam Royals (4-1) take on the Berlin Rebels (1-5) in the first of two back-to-back games between the two teams in the GFL North. Game time is 15:00 CET (3 pm, 09:00 am ET).

Team Austria will be battling for fifth place in the IFAF European Championships when they take on the Serbian national team on Sunday, August 8 in Vienna at 15:00 CET (3 pm, 09:00 am ET).
