AFI.tv features action from Germany, Denmark and Finland this weekend

The Finnish Maple League and Danish National League both return to action as AFI.tv  features a full slate of games this week.

Along with the games from Finland and Denmark, the German Football League offers a full schedule of matchups.

Thursday, August 12

The 4-1 Helsinki Roosters badly need a win to keep pace with the Kuopio Steelers at the top of the Maple League standings while the Wolverines need a win and also for the Seinäjoki Crocodiles to lose both of their games. Kickoff is Thursday, August 12, 17:30 CET (5:30 pm, 11:30 am ET).

Friday, August 13

The United Newland Crusaders (0-5) will be looking for their first victory of the Maple League season in Finland Friday night when they take on the Wasa Royals (1-5). Game time is August 13 @ 17:30 CET (5:30 pm, 11:30 am ET).

Saturday, August 14

The Danish National League returns to action after a month’s hiatus as the undefeated (3-0) Søllerød Gold Diggers play host to the AaB 89ers (1-2) Saturday, August 14 at 14:00 CET (2 pm, 08:00 am ET).

The Dresden Monarchs (5-1), who sit atop the GFL North standings, will play host to the Braunschweig New Yorker Lions (3-3) in what is possibly the game of the week in the German Football League. Kickoff is Saturday, August 14 at 15:00 CET (3 pm, 09:00 am ET).

The Cologne Crocodiles (3-3) will face the fast-improving Kiel Baltic Hurricanes (2-5) Saturday, August 14 at 15:00 CET (3 pm, 09:00 am ET). The Crocodiles won their first game between these two teams earlier this year.

The defending Maple League champion Kuopio Steelers (6-0) will put their unbeaten record on the line when they host the Porvoo Butchers (3-2), Saturday, August 14 at 15:30 CET (3:30 pm, 09:30 am ET).

The Saarland Hurricanes (5-1) travel to Stuttgart to face the 1-5 Stuttgart Scorpions, Saturday, August 14 at 17:00 CET (5 pm, 11:00 am ET).


The undefeated Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns (6-0) will play host to the Allgäu Comets (4-1) in an interesting GFL South matchup Saturday, August 14 at 17:00 CET (5 pm, 11:00 am ET).

The Potsdam Royals (5-1) will take on the Berlin Rebels (1-6) in the second game of a back-to-back series between the two teams. Potsdam won the first leg last week, 26-7. Kickoff is Saturday, August 14 at 18:00 CET (6 pm, 12 noon ET).
