Australia’s Prime Minister Salutes Team Outback
Just when you might have thought that Australia’s National American Football Team – Team Outback – might be forgotten in its homeland, Australia’s Prime Minister, Tony Abbott, showed that he and his country are well aware of the efforts of head coach John Leijten and his entire squad.
Team Australia is currently in the U.S. preparing for the 2015 IFAF World Championship which is about to kicks off next week in Canton, Ohio.
It is not often that the leader of a country comes out to support a national team on national television.
Very classy move. Good on ya.
