Austria’s defending champion Dacia Vienna Vikings sign All-American WR Reece Horn

The Dacia Vienna Vikings, 2017 Austrian champions, have added WR/DB Reece Horn for the 2018 season.

The 6’3″, 215 lb Horn, a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, helped the Milano Seamen win the Italian title in 2017. He had a huge game in Italy’s championship catching five passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns as the Seamen defeated the Milano Rhinos 37-29.

A graduate of the University of Indianapolis (NCAA Div. II), Horn set single-season and career records for receptions (272) and receiving yards (3,562) while racking up 108 catches for 1,396 yards in 2015, another school record. He was named an AFCA All American in 2015 as well.

Vikings head coach Chris Calaycay:

“But of course Reece Horn not only brings his qualities as a receiver but also the option to be used as a defensive back or as a returner in the special teams.”

The Vikings won the Austrian crown in 2017, beating the Swarco Raiders in the Austrian final 45-26.
