Austria’s Swarco Raiders to face Denmark’s Copenhagen Towers in CEFL/NEFL Superfinal

The Copenhagen Towers from Denmark and Austrian powerhouse the Swarco Raiders will square off Saturday, June 30 in what has been dubbed the CEFL/NEFL SuperFinal.

The Towers were winners of the NEFL, Northern European Football League while Swarco won the CEFL, Central European Football League.

The Northern European Football League featured the champions of Great Britain, Denmark, Sweden and Norway while the Central European Football League was decided between the title holders from Poland,  the Czech Republic, Turkey, Serbia and Russia as well as the Austrian runner ups, the Swarco Raiders.

The Raiders have won the CEFL title two years in a row while Copenhagen celebrated its first NEFL championship.

Swarco defeated the Istanbul Koc Rams from Turkey in the CEFL final which was held in Innsbruck, Austria, beating them by a score of 49-20. Meanwhile, the Towers downed Sweden’s Carlstad Crusaders 44-43 in a thriller in Karlstad, Sweden.
