Poland: Białystok Lowlanders secure coaching continuity with Dan Pippin’s return

The Białystok Lowlanders of the Polish Football League have ensured coaching stability by re-signing head coach Dan Pippin, who led the team to a 6–2 regular season record and a semifinal appearance in 2025, keeping the experienced American at the helm as the club pursues its first PFL championship.

Proven winner abroad
The 57-year-old Michigan native brings a wealth of international experience, having guided Italy’s Aquile Ferrara to promotion into the top division in 2024. Prior to that, Pippin served as head coach of the Lübeck Cougars in Germany’s GFL2 and the Hungarian National Team in 2022. His European résumé also includes a successful stint with Lazio Ducks in Italy, where he built one of the league’s top offenses and reached the semifinals.

Stateside success and development
Before moving overseas, Pippin compiled an impressive 28-year coaching career in American high school football, primarily in South Carolina. Named USA Football Coach of the Year, he developed multiple NFL players and dozens of NCAA Division I recruits during tenures at AikenGreenwood, and North Augusta high schools. He also spent time in the college ranks at Webber International University and Rochester Community and Technical College.

Building on recent success
Under Pippin’s leadership, the Lowlanders have become consistent contenders, reaching the PFL championship game in 2024 and the semifinals in 2025. His return signals the club’s ambition to take the next step and capture a title, leveraging his offensive expertise and player development track record to maintain the team’s upward trajectory in Polish American football.
