The move comes as the Knights look to build on a strong 2025 campaign where they reached the league semifinals with a 6–4 record, narrowly falling 24–21 to the eventual champion Vysocina Gladiators.
A proven playmaker
The 6-foot, 225-pound linebacker from Keller, Texas brings valuable experience from both FBS program University of North Texas and East Texas A&M University. Garnett has demonstrated playmaking ability with a sack against UIW, an interception versus Northwestern State, and even scored a touchdown on a blocked punt during his time with the Mean Green.
