European Football Alliance: Final weekend features three key matchups

The European Football Alliance closes its regular season this weekend with the Munich Ravens (9-0) and the Nordic Storm (8-1) meeting for first place, while the Frankfurt Galaxy (3-6), Paris Musketeers (3-6), Raiders Tirol (2-7) and Prague Lions (2-7) head into their finales with plenty still to play for.

Last weekend changed the picture considerably. The Storm overwhelmed the Galaxy 47-9, the Ravens remained perfect with a 45-22 victory over the Musketeers, and the Raiders earned their second straight win by beating the Lions 41-29.

Nordic Storm (8-1) @ Munich Ravens (9-0)

The regular season finishes with the matchup everyone has been waiting for: the Storm (8-1) against the unbeaten Ravens (9-0).

Jadrian Clark threw for 440 yards and five touchdowns in the Storm’s rout of Frankfurt, while Russell Tabor answered with 351 yards and five scores against Paris. With two of the league’s most productive quarterbacks going head-to-head, the finale provides a fitting conclusion to the EFA regular season.

Frankfurt Galaxy (3-6) @ Prague Lions (2-7)

The Frankfurt Galaxy (3-6) needs a response after struggling against the Nordic Storm, which held the Galaxy to 198 total yards in Zach Calzada’s first start at quarterback.

The Prague Lions (2-7), meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back after allowing 521 yards in their loss to the Raiders Tirol. Jaylon Henderson remains central to the Lions offense after rushing for 124 yards and a touchdown while also throwing two touchdown passes in the loss.

Paris Musketeers (3-6) @ Raiders Tirol (2-7)

The Musketeers travel to Innsbruck at 3-6 after their 45-22 loss to Munich, while the Raiders have suddenly found some momentum at 2-7.

Kenyatte Allen has transformed the Tirol offense since taking over at quarterback. He threw for 346 yards and two touchdowns against Prague, while Lukas Haslwanter scored four touchdowns. Paris quarterback Zach Edwards threw three touchdown passes against the Ravens, including two to Torin Justice.
