Munich Ravens aim for Guinness World Record in Sled Push
This Sunday, October 26, the Munich Ravens will take on an extraordinary challenge as they attempt to break the Guinness World Record in the Sled Push. Teaming up with extreme athletes Julia and Stephanie, known as the SquatTwins, the Ravens aim to move over one million kilograms in just 12 hours, bringing the title home to Munich.
A record-breaking challenge
The current record, held by 12 elite British soldiers, stands at 864,736.30 kilograms. The Ravens and the SquatTwins are determined not only to surpass this mark but to shatter it. During the event, participants will push a heavy sled over a defined distance, with the total weight calculated by multiplying the load by the distance covered. Every meter counts in this grueling endurance test.
Team effort meets experience
Ten players from the Munich Ravens will join forces with the SquatTwins, who bring a wealth of experience to the challenge. With 10 world records already under their belts, the twins have never missed an attempt and are aiming to maintain their flawless record in Munich. The Ravens see this event as a chance to showcase their teamwork and determination beyond the football field. As one team member stated, the attempt is about demonstrating what focus and unity can achieve.
Pushing for a good cause
This record attempt is not just about breaking barriers; it also supports a charitable initiative for the RTL Children’s Foundation. All donations collected during the event will go directly to the organization, highlighting the Ravens’ commitment to giving back to the community.
Munich takes center stage
With this ambitious endeavor, the Munich Ravens hope to inspire their fans and demonstrate the values of perseverance and teamwork. Spectators are encouraged to attend the event at the PACE Club Munich and cheer on the athletes as they strive to make history, showcasing strength and solidarity for twelve unforgettable hours.
