History:

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Molosses of Asnières-sur-Seine, founded in 1992, is a French football club based in Asnieres-sur-Seine outside Paris. After becoming D3 French champions in 1995, the Molosses were promoted to the the Division 2 championship from between 1996 and 1998. They were promoted again to the Elite Championship from 1998 to 2007. The club was then relegated to D2 after the 2006 season until it again reached the D2 finals, but lost to the Iron Mask de Cannes. The club played the 2009 season in the Elite, but was relegated after that season back to D2 for the 2010. Since falling back to D2, the club has grown steadily and won two consecutive D2 titles in 2010 and 2011. The Molosses of Asnières defeated the Templiers d’Élancourt 26-19 to be promoted back into the Elite for 2011 and 2012.
