Check out updated final stats from Swedish Superserien

Following an adjustment of the final stats that were issued a couple of weeks ago, AFI now presents the up-to-date regular season stats for the Swedish Superserien

Each team in the four-team league played a total of six regular season games with the pull-out of the Göteborg Marvels just prior to the season start.

The Carlstad Crusaders, Stockholm Mean Machines and Uppsala 86ers ended up with four players each in the Top 5 in the three categories, passing, receiving and rushing. The Örebro Black Knights had three.

Passing

Stockholm Mean Machines QB Alex Thury enjoyed a superb season and finished as the league leader in yards passing and passing TDs with 1,347 yards and 13 TDs. Carlstad Crusaders QB Shazzon Mumphrey got off to a slow start, but finished with 873 yards and 12 TDs despite splitting duties. Uppsala 86ers QB Gustav Bowall had 621 yards while Örebro Black Knights Johnny Knox threw for 410 yards after missing games with an injury. Finally, Black Knights Joel Isacson threw for 118 yards good for 5th.

Receiving

Carlstad Crusaders WR Kevin Börzsei had a breakout season in 2019 and finished the season as the league leader in receiving yards with 423 and a league-best 7 TDs. Alpha Jalloh of the Stockholm Mean Machines wound up 2nd with 284 yards while teammate Hans von Wachsmann finished 3rd with 282. Uppsala 86ers WR Isac Vikman was the 4th leading receiver with 248 while his fellow 86er Jamal Hussein wound up 5th with 222 yards.

Rushing

As he did all season, Carlstad Crusaders RB Emil Knutsson led the league in rushing finishing with 561 yards while Stockholm RB Joshua Akena finished 2nd with 473 yards. Johannes Nilsson of the 86ers was the 3rd leading rusher in Sweden with 339 yards while Veikka Lehtonen of the Black Knights wound up 4th. He had 269 yards. Crusaders RB Victor Toresson finished in 5th with 244 yards and a league-best 5 rushing TDs.
