Germany: Straubing Spiders add versatile wide receiver Jordan Pouncey

The Straubing Spiders have boosted their offensive arsenal for the 2026 German Football League season, signing dynamic wide receiver and rusher Jordan Pouncey, who joins after a productive year with the Paderborn Dolphins.

A dual-threat playmaker
Pouncey, a 6’2”, 210-pound athlete from Winter Park, Florida, led the Dolphins in receiving during the 2025 season with 42 catches for 448 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also made a significant impact on the ground, finishing as the team’s second-leading rusher with 191 yards and 3 more scores on 35 carries. His ability to contribute in multiple ways adds a new dimension to the Spiders’ attack.

Big-time background
Before his professional career, Pouncey played college football at powerhouse programs, spending time with the Texas Longhorns (2017–2019) and the Florida Gators (2020–2022). He most recently played in the Arena Football League for the Oregon Black Bears and Washington Wolfpack in 2024. His blend of size, speed, and high-level experience makes him a valuable addition as Straubing looks to climb the GFL standings.
