GFL: Saarland Hurricanes sign All American WR Andrew Kamienski

The Saarland Hurricanes of the German Football League have signed former North Central College legend and NCAA Division III First Team All-American receiver Andrew Kamienski for the 2023 season.

Kamienski most recently suited up for the North Central College Cardinals (NCAA, DIII) in his home state of Illinois where he appeared in two Division III National Championships, winning one in 2021.

In four monster years, the 6 ‘0, 190-pound Kamienski had 337 receptions for 5,019 yards and 57 touchdowns, all ranking first in school history. In addition to this, Kamienski ranks fourth in NCAA III history in receiving yards, fifth in receptions and six in touchdowns.

Kamienski’s overwhelming production led to him being announced as one of five finalists for the Gagliardi Trophy, the premier individual award in Division III football, the CCIW Art Keller Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-CCIW selection as well as First Team All-America by D3football.com, Associated Press and AFCA.
