Huge upset in Egypt; Cairo Hell Hounds hand GUC Eagles first loss in 3 years

The Cairo Hell Hounds served notice on the rest of the Egyptian National Football League last weekend in trouncing the defending and three year champions, the GUC Eagles 44-12 at Petro Sport stadium in Cairo.

This was the first loss the Eagles have suffered in their three years in the league.

Quarterback Matthew Kershy was outstanding on the night throwing for 378 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for another 32 yards. Wide receiver  Ziad Ammar was superb catching two of those touchdown passes

Among some other names to be remembered include Youssef Zaitoun, who is the leading receiver in the league. After returning from injury, Zaitoun was once again outstanding. Another player who showed great effort on the field was #21 Aly Samir, who played a great game by going both ways at both running back and cornerback.

With this win, the Hell Hounds have turned the Egyptian National Football League into a true race.
