Hungary: Miskolc aiming for first road win over Budapest Cowbells

The second round of the Hungarian Football League (HFL) continues this weekend with the Budapest Cowbells hosting the Miskolc Steelers,  Saturday, April 27.

The Cowbells kicked off the season with a home win against the tough Kiev Capitals. The passing game seemed solid with quarterback Tamás Váry stepping up as the leading figure of the offense. Still, the running game lacked spark with the absence of Péter Cseperkáló, who hung up his cleats, and the injury to Richárd Roják. The defense is still strong which might be the key in winning the match this Saturday.

Although the Miskolc Steelers lost to the Budapest Wolves in the first round, the defense put up a good performance, although the offense still lacked chemistry. It seems that Jeremy Dixon has became the number one quarterback for the Steelers after Vasyl Yordan had a lot of shoulder issues last season. However, Yordan still took the field for some snaps which shows that head coach Eaton Demetrius Lamar is still counting on him. Andre Whyte is in great shape and if he repeats his last season, Miskolc is up for another good year.
