IFAF Men’s 2020 European Championship Group B matchups now set

With the top 12 European national teams scheduled to begin play this fall, the remaining five have been slotted into Group B.

IFAF Europe announced the full fall schedule of games for the group A stages of the IFAF Men’s 2020 European Championships. They have now announced the fall schedule of the remaining five teams who are competing to qualify for Group A.

The same basic rules apply to these five nations. The “tournament” is being played on a bi-annual basis with each team having two games a year, ideally one home and one away game. The games are played individually and not in a tournament format. This will give coaches and players more time to prepare properly. Emphasis in the first year of the two-year cycle will be placed on travel distances. In the second year, the emphasis will only be on the ranking of the teams based on the results of the first year.
