Poland’s Słupsk Griffons Hosting International D3 Tourney, Looking for Teams

European Division 3/Regional International Tournament to be held in Poland in 2016.

The Słupsk Griffons, KFA (Poland), will be holding a tournament for teams at the Division 3 and Regional level in Europe and the US.

The Griffons are inviting teams from around Europe to play in a two-day, pool-play style tournament.

This event will take place in late June or early July 2016 (depending on city facility availability).

The tournament will be limited to six teams. Registration fee will be 250pln (58€). Teams will be guaranteed, at least, three games; two during round robin play, and at least one game during tournament play.

Saturday will consist of round robin style pool play. When possible, every attempt will be made to ensure teams are not paired against teams from the same league/country.

Sunday will be tournament play, with the top 4 teams, from pool play, playing in a bracket style championship tournament (to include a 3rd place game), and the 5th & 6th place teams will play in a conciliation game.

Officials, holding current certifications/validations in their home country, are encouraged to apply to assist in officiating games. Compensation will be discussed with interested individuals.
