Jadrian Clark re-signs with Nordic Storm for 2026 European Football Alliance season

Quarterback Jadrian Clark, who led the Nordic Storm to the European League of Football semifinals last season, has officially re-signed to play for the Storm in the upcoming 2026 European Football Alliance season. This move solidifies Clark’s commitment to the franchise as they aim for further success.

Outstanding 2025 season
In 2025, Clark had an exceptional year statistically, throwing for 3,708 yards (2nd in ELF) and 47 touchdowns (2nd), while maintaining a 125.10 QBR. His impressive 65.08% completion rate fueled the Storm’s 310.9 passing yards per game (2nd in ELF). Clark also excelled in critical situations, recording 57 red-zone completions on 98 attempts and 183 first-down throws, demonstrating his ability to perform under pressure.

Championship pedigree with Rhein Fire
Before joining the Nordic Storm, Clark had established himself as one of Europe’s top quarterbacks with the Rhein Fire, leading them to back-to-back ELF championships in 2023 and 2024. His remarkable performance during those seasons earned him both league MVP and Championship Game MVP honors, further cementing his status among the elite players in European football.

A journey through European football
Clark’s first few years in Europe began well, as he spent time in the German Football League (GFL), where he reached the 2019 German Bowl with the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns. He also played for the Kirchdorf Wildcats in GFL2, winning the GFL2 title. His success in Germany quickly established him as one of the premier quarterbacks, leading to a stint in Austria before his first ELF season in 2021.

The Hamburg Sea Devils gave Clark his first ELF opportunity in its inaugural season. Over nine games, he threw for 1,380 yards, 15 touchdowns, and ten interceptions, helping Hamburg reach the Championship game, where they narrowly lost 32-30 to the Frankfurt Galaxy. After a challenging 2022 season with the Lübeck Cougars in GFL2, where he threw for 1,150 yards and 13 touchdowns, Clark seized the opportunity to return to the ELF with the Rhein Fire after an injury to their starting quarterback, Matt Adam.

Collegiate success at Weber State
Clark honed his craft at Weber State from 2013 to 2016, earning Third Team All-Big Sky honors and cementing himself among the program’s all-time greats. His collegiate experience laid the foundation for his successful transition to professional football in Europe.

Academic integration and coaching future
Returning to the Storm allows Clark to continue his academic pursuits while mentoring players. Having completed his Master’s degree at the University of the West of England, he has stepped in as offensive coordinator and is well-positioned to blend his coaching responsibilities with his educational development, further enriching British university football. This transition from elite player to coach represents a substantial gain for the sport in the UK and demonstrates the growing connectivity between professional European leagues and developmental programs
