In the opening game of the German league season , Kiel came from behind with two touchdowns in the last three minutes of the game to stun the Monarchs 33-29.

Braunschweig New Yorker Lions v. Cologne Falcons

The other match-up in Germany has the number one team in Europe, the Braunschweig New Yorker Lions hosting the Cologne Falcons on Sunday August 17.. Sweden: Uppsala 86ers v. Stockholm Mean Machines

In Sweden also on Sunday, the Uppsala 86ers travel to Stockholm to play the Stockholm Mean Machines.
