The Wroclaw Panthers (6-2) return home this weekend looking to build on one of their most complete performances of the season when they host the Alpine Rams (1-6) in a Week 10 American Football League Europe matchup. Riding the momentum of a 62-0 victory over the Firenze Red Lions, the Panthers have an opportunity to keep pace near the top of the standings, while the Rams are hoping to halt a five-game losing streak and finish the season on a stronger note.
Wang leads balanced attack
The Panthers continue to boast one of the league’s most balanced offenses, with quarterback Jameson Wang leading the way. Wang has thrown for 1,858 yards and is tied for the AFLE lead with 22 touchdown passes, putting him among the league’s most efficient quarterbacks.
He was nearly flawless against Firenze, completing 21 of 22 passes for 292 yards and four touchdowns while spreading the ball to several receivers. Michael Harley Jr. was once again his favorite target, finishing with 11 receptions for 155 yards and three touchdowns, while Dylan St. Pierre and Juan Flores-Calderon each added touchdown catches.
The ground game has also been a major strength throughout the season. Although Dawid Brzozowski missed last week’s game, he still ranks second in the league with 472 rushing yards. Against Firenze, Bartosz Woch rushed for 63 yards and three touchdowns, while Kamil Kotlarz and Oliver Zarembski combined for another 105 yards as the Panthers rolled up 186 yards on the ground.

Rams seek complete performance
The Rams are coming off a 40-17 loss to the Berlin Thunder, but the final score didn’t tell the whole story after they battled back with two late touchdowns.
Quarterback Seth Morgan threw for 240 yards and a touchdown, while Kevin Kaya continued his productive season with eight catches for 106 yards and a score. Lucas Davoine also gave the offense a lift by rushing for 86 yards.
To stay within reach this week, Alpine will need to sustain drives, limit turnovers and find a way to slow one of the league’s most explosive offenses.
Defense could decide the game
The Panthers have been just as impressive defensively as they have offensively. Last week they held the Red Lions to only 129 total yards while intercepting Harrison Roubidoux twice and recording the club’s first shutout of the season.
For the Rams, containing Wang and preventing the Panthers from establishing their running game will be the biggest challenge. If Wroclaw is able to dictate the tempo on both sides of the ball as it has in recent weeks, the home team will be well positioned to continue its march toward the postseason.
