The 1-0 Asnieres Molosses head to the other side of Paris Saturday to take on the defending French champion La Courneuve Flash Saturday February 9. in the second weekend of action in the French Federation of American Football 2019 season.
The Molosses are fresh off a decisive 20-6 win over the Saint-Ouen Cougars last week while La Courneuve is playing their first game of the season after their opening game last week was postponed due to weather.
After two straight titles and several European champions on the roster head coach Nicholas Simoneau has to face several key player departures. The most important could be the loss of all star quarterback Paul Durand who retired and is now the offensive coordinator. But we believe the unlimited potential of the Flash players who have moved up from the youth team enable the Seine Saint Denis team to reach the playoffs again.
In the win over the Cougars, Molosses quarterback Camille Thouary threw three touchdown passes, two to Ralph Rosalie another to Marc Bony. They will be a key today for the Molosses.
