The Nice Dauphins (0-2) will be looking for their first win of the season when they travel to take on the equally winless Toulouse Ours (0-3) as the French D1 Elite league season enters Week #4.

The Ours fell 30-6 to the Grizzlys Catalans last week after opening the season with two straight losses to the Marseille Blue Stars 22-7 and Aix Argonautes 21-13. Nice started their season with a surprising 19-6 loss to the newcomers in the South, the Cannes Iron Mask and then lost to the Grizzlys 21-19.

The two teams split the series between them in 2023 with Nice beating the Ours 13-6 and Toulouse getting revenge late in the season by defeating the Dauphins 21-10.

Nice second year head coach Yannick Fattorini will definitely be looking to get his team into the win column after those disappointing losses. French quarterback Sullivan Silverio will need to generate some offense as the team has only scored 25 points in two games.

The Dauphins defense led by defensive lineman Jordan Harris (Brockport University NCAA DIII) as well as talented French linebacker Chemsedine Jaouni will also need to step up to help snap the losing streak.

The Ours are led by head coach Stephane Murat for the 2024 season. On offense, he relies on quarterback Norman Douglas Jr (Jackson State) who was a late arrival. Defensively, they have national team linebacker Dorian Longhini.
