The Thonon-les-bains Black Panthers (4-1 FFFA Elite, 0-1 EFL) play host to the Rouen Leopards (1-5) April 21, in a game that has suddenly gained huge implications for the FFFA top Elite league leaders.

Thonon is coming off of two straight losses including a disappointing 37-20 loss to Spain’s Badalona Dracs last weekend. In their only loss in the French league, Thonon dropped a 20-13 decision to the Asneires-sur-Seine Molosses on March 31.

After a surprise run to the playoffs in 2017, the Rouen Leopards are struggling offensively in France’s top league this year. To date they’ve only topped the cellar-dwelling Bron-Villeurbanne Falcons 28-14 this season.

We expect Thonon to get back on track at home today.
