The Tigers would like to maintain their unbeaten streak. However, this is the game, where the current leader of the regular season table can show off its strength. The offense has been improving since the first game against the Enthroners, Brian Gessel and Troy Rice are the leaders on offense along with head coach Thomas Smythe who can still send in quality back-ups and youngsters. The defense is currently the best-ranked in the HFL with the fewest points conceded. Not just the imports, the Ukrainian players or the most experienced players can put up a good performance but youngsters like Ádám Suller, or Patrik Panykó are able to take up the challenge of the HFL. For example, Suller already has 2 sacks and one fumble recovery in three games.

The Budapest Wolves are traveling to Nyíregyháza to correct the mistakes they made against the Miskolc Steelers. In that game, the Wolves suffered their first loss of the season. The offense needs some adjustments because the offensive line could not give enough time for quarterback Márk Bencsics to throw. Nevertheless, Máté Gecser and Ádám Elek still made big catches, but there were not too much of it. The defense and the special teams will have a lot of work to do as well, because stopping Gessel, Rice and the motivated and skilled youngsters of the Tigers will be a challenging task.

In the other game in Hungary on Monday, May 21, the defending champion Budapest Cowbells take on the winless DAK Acél Gorillaz

Not too much pressure on the Gorillaz after suffering through a four game losing streak. They do not have so many chances of getting into the playoffs since they will play their last three games against playoff contenders. During the Eagles game two weeks ago, the offense stopped after a good start, which means there are still some adjustments to be made by head coach Vilmos Grátz.

The Budapest Cowbells struggled a few weeks ago against the Enthroners, but got a convincing win thanks to Márton Czirók and the receivers. Nonetheless, the reigning champions have a common history with the Gorillaz. Never have the two squads played a boring game. Last season, the Gorillaz led until the last quarter, where the Cowbells made a miraculous comeback, and won the game. This is what the spectators are expecting on Monday.
