Team Holland, aka the Dutch Lions, and Russia will face other Sunday morning local time, to decide third and fourth places in the IFAF Europe Qualifier tournament at Sixways Stadium in Worcester, Great Britain.
Holland fell Friday to the Czech Republic 20-13 after taking a 13-0 first half lead. The Czechs scored late in the contest for the win. Team Russia had no answers for a well disciplined Great Britain Lions squad Friday evening and lost 30-3.
Great Britain will take on the Czech Republic Sunday afternoon to determine who advances to play either Sweden or Denmark in 2017. The winners of that round will advance to Group A and join Germany, France, Finland and Austria for the IFAF European Championships in 2018 in Germany.
Russia v. Netherlands – Sunday, September 18 11a CET (5a EDT)
