The Raptors and Dinos clash in the first of two semifinals in Mexico’s Liga de Futbol Americano (LFA), Saturday, April 14 at Desierto Jurásico (Olímpico de Saltillo) stadium.

The winner advances to Tazón México III on April 22.

After finishing second in the North, the Raptors are facing the Dinos for the second year in a row. In 2017, the Raptors defeated the Dinos in both regular season games but lost in the game to decide the North division winner. Today, the opposite is true. The Dinos have beaten the Raptors twice already this year, 29-27 and 23-20.

The Raptors started the year with promise winning the first two games, but then dropped four in a row before rebounding in the final regular season game of the year, beating the Fundidores.to finish 3-4. The Dinos lost their opening two games and then won four in a row before being trounced by the Condors in the final regular season game.

The Raptors had the highest scoring offense in the North division with 194 points in seven games. The Dinos, despite winning one more game, only mustered 123 points.
