The Åsane Seahawks and Eidsvoll 1814s will face each other Sunday, June 11 in a crucial matchup to decide home field advantage in the playoffs.

The Seahawks occupy second in the Norwegian standings with a record of 3-1 while nine-time Norwegian champion Eidsvoll (2-1) is in third with a game in hand over Åsane.

Both teams suffered lopsided losses to the unbeaten Oslo Vikings. Eidsvoll lost 37-0 to the  Vikings a couple of weeks ago, while the Seahawks lost 38-0 last weekend.

Both teams have defeated the Valerenga Trolls, the 1814s in fact twice, accounting for their two wins.

Seahawks quarterback Conor Lynch has played solid football and kept his team in games.

With his background, which includes an Austrian championship with the Graz Giants, Eidsvoll head coach TJ Reap is no stranger to pressure football games

This will be a memorable game to watch.
