LIVESTREAM Poland: Krakow Kings @ Warsaw Mets, April 16, 13:00 CET (1 pm, 7 am EDT)

The Warsaw Mets (1-0) will play host to the Krakow Kings (1-0) Sunday, April 16 as the Polish Football League winds up its second weekend of action in the 2023 season.

The Mets are coming off a 27-20 win over the Warsaw Eagles last week while Krakow beat the Wroclaw Jaguars 34-21.

The last time these two teams met was in the 2022 semifinals when the Kings dominated Warsaw, cruising to a 37-0 win.

In Warsaw’s victory, quarterback Torrin Campbell (Shaw University) tossed two touchdown passes, both to wide receiver Jan Omelańczuk, and scored one on the ground himself. Defensive back Adam Dobkowski put the game away with a pick six late in the contest. Expect Campbell to rely on Omelańczuk again today against a tough Krakow secondary.

Krakow running back Jan Szwej will present problems for the Warsaw front seven. He scored three of the Kings five touchdowns in the win over the Jaguars while quarterback Taylor King connected with Bernard Binding for one and defensive back Darrell Wallace scored on a fumble return.

The Krakow offense can be explosive, but the Mets are a tough team playing at home. This one is a toss up.
