The Algarve Sharks (0-3) will try to get into the win column Saturday March 16 in the Portuguese League of American Football when they head to Cascais to face the Cascais Crusaders (2-1).
Cascais lost a tough one to the Lisboa Devils, 19-15 to open the season but bounced back to beat the Mutts 31-27. They then added a convincing 33-21 win over the Lisboa Navigators two weeks ago.
After battling the Porto Mutts in the opening game of the year, although losing 20-14, the Sharks have fallen on tough times. Their last two losses, to the Navigators and the Braga Warriors were by a combined total of 69-6. From being playoff contenders for the past two years, Algarve has struggled. They need a win in this game to have any hope of making the playoffs.
