The defending champions and 4-0 Cluj Crusaders will face the 3-1 Bucharest Rebels in RoBowl IX at Mircea Chivu Stadium in Resita, Romania June 30.
The two teams met once during the regular season with Cluj the easy winner, beating the Rebels 34-8.
This is the eighth trip to the championship final for the Crusaders and the fourth time they have faced the Rebels. Cluj has won the title three times but only once when facing the Rebels. They beat Bucharest 20-7 in 2012 in the title game.
The Rebels will be attempting to win their fourth Romanian championship. They won the championship three straight years, 2014-2016, before Cluj won it last year.The Rebels defeated Cluj two years ago in winning their third consecutive Romanian title. Last year, Cluj downed the Bucharest Warriors 17-12 in the final game.
