The Badalona Dracs, last year’s LNFA runners-up, open their 2026 season with a high-stakes rematch against the Mallorca Voltors, the only team to beat them in the 2025 regular season.
A tale of two games last season
The Voltors shocked the league with a 24-22 upset over Badalona in last year’s opener. The Dracs got their revenge later with a dominant 41-27 home victory, but that early loss proved Mallorca’s capability to compete with the best. Despite a 3-5 finish, they remain a dangerous opponent.
Star power on both sides
Badalona returns quarterback Pol Singleton, who recently led them to a Spanish Cup title. They’ll face a tough Mallorca offense featuring standout receiver Austin Brock, who comes off a 1,000-yard season in the German Football League, and quarterback Malik Brown, a proven winner from the German lower divisions and Brazil where he played for Manaus Selva winning the conference championship in 2024..
