Although on paper the American football game between the Kristianstad Predators (1-3), who are battling for a playoff spot in Sweden, and the basement dwelling and winless Stockholm Mean Machines would seem to be a foregone conclusion, this one could turn into an exciting match up today.
The Predators have Sweden’s top quarterback this season in Philip Juhlin and although they are 1-3 his play has kept them in every game (320 yards passing per game) along with the pass catching abilities of Marcus Johnsson (averaging 127 yards per game).
Stockholm on the other hand have added an exciting quarterback of their own in Mexican national team quarterback Gustavo Garcia. He has already made a difference in practice according to club officials. He is expected to make a big difference in his debut game this afternoon too. Also, the Mean Machines will be welcoming the return of national team linebacker Filip Jönsson to the lineup from injury.
