Under Ellison, the Ravens transformed into ELF contenders. After a 2024 wild-card round exit, the coach overhauled the roster, leading to a league-best (tied with the Vienna Vikings) 11-1 regular season in 2025. The team secured the No. 2 seed, earning a semifinal bye and home-field advantage. General Manager Sean Shelton praised Ellison’s impact: “His energy and culture are contagious. Ellison’s European pedigree
Ellison brings a decade of European football experience, having played linebacker for the Pori Bears, Lubeck Seals, and Hamburg Huskies from 2010–2015. He transitioned to coaching with the Huskies, Saarland Hurricanes, and Pardubice Stallions before joining the ELF. His dual role as Ravens head coach and defensive coordinator reflects his tactical versatility.
