Poland: Poznań Armia demolishes Zielona Góra Wataha in season opener

The Poznań Armia (1-0) launched their Polish Football League season with a ruthless 47-0 shutout victory over Zielona Góra Wataha (0-2) on Sunday at Zielona Góra’s Botaniczna Street Stadium. A three-touchdown first quarter set the tone for the visitors, who overpowered their hosts through relentless offense and stifling defense.

Armia’s explosive start sets tone
The Poznań Armia dominated from the opening kickoff, scoring three touchdowns in the first quarter. Piotr Kupiec’s 2-yard rush opened the floodgates, followed by Ignacy Ciszewski’s 9-yard reception and Michał Górny’s 11-yard sprint.
