Portugal: Lisboa Devils sign University of Georgetown Hoyas QB Kyle Nolan

The Lisboa Devils, winners of the last two Portuguese championships, have signed quarterback Kyle Nolan for the 2017/2018 season.

The 6’6″, 235 lb Nolan, a native of Branford, Connecticut, played with the Georgetown University Hoyas (NCAA Div. I) for four seasons. He started at quarterback in each of his four seasons including each game during his junior and senior seasons. He finished his career at Georgetown first in career pass attempts (1,011), completions (565) and total offense (6,269 yards). He is second in career passing yards (5,750 yards), completion percentage (.559) and fourth in touchdown passes (35).

He attracted the interest of the Baltimore Ravens and was invited to rookie minicamp in 2016

Nolan, who will also serve as offensive coordinator for the Devils. will be replacing Joey Bradley who led the Devils for the past two seasons. He will arrive in September for the start of the new season.
